Sadia: The Eighth Circle of Heck!

Sadia_CoverAt long last, the next chapter in the mildly diverting Circles of Heck series is finally here! Yes, Sadia: The Eighth Circle of Heck is now ready for ocular consumption. Buy it NOW, HERE!

Here’s the “sin-opsis” (see what I did there?):

After the War of the Words competition forever alters the afterlife, siblings Milton and Marlo Fauster are separated and whisked away to the deepest bowels of the underworld. Guilt-ridden, Milton agrees to work for Principal Bubb in hopes that he can locate his sister and somehow free her. But his nefarious mission—to “character assassinate” the reigning vice principal of Sadia: Where the Really Mean Kids Go—runs afoul when he learns the true identity of this mysterious individual. Meanwhile, Marlo wakes up to teenage paradise that may or may not be what it seems.

There’s also a mutiny brewing in Heaven while the underworld is turned into a tourist destination for the living. Can Milton follow through with his mission: navigating a nest of history’s cruelest tyrants in the process? Can Marlo hold on to her identity amidst a nuclear self-esteem assault? Will they discover the secret history of Sadia before it is potentially used as a weapon against none other than the Big Guy Upstairs?

    Hi Dale,
I’ve been a fan of Heck since the 6th grade. I just got accepted into medical school so it’s been a while. I’m so excited that you finally managed to get this book published. If you don’t mind my asking, how did it? I thought something weird happened with your publisher and they put the kibosh on the whole thing.
Anyways, super excited to read it!
    Thanks for being awesome.

    • Hecko Hamza! Wow, that second sentence is both thrilling (“Yay! You got accepted into medical school!”) and sobering (“Wow…someone who has read my books is now old enough for medical school!?”). CONGRATS TO YOU! I’m so glad my books didn’t impair your faculties to such a degree that you weren’t able to pursue higher learning! Maybe it had something to do with Marlo dissecting a demon in the first book!
Speaking of dissection, yes, my publisher did not publish Sadia. I self-published it, as both an experiment and as a way to share what I had already completed. I did my best to make it seem like the other books, though I couldn’t publish it as a hard cover due to self-publishing limitations. We’ll see how it goes! If enough people buy it, then I’ll finish out the series. Or if Random House swoops in for some reason and wants to “properly” publish it, then I’ll finish out the series. I would love to do that, if only for closure! (OK, and to see what Bob Dob comes up with in terms of the cover).
So glad for you and all of your successes. YOU, sir, are the awesome one!
Take care, read two Heck books and call me in the morning.
